This collage workshop will focus on the ‘cut-out’ technique of Henri Matisse which he developed during the last years of his artistic life. Participants will discover how Matisse ‘carved into colour’ - using simple shapes and vivid tones to transform paint and paper into a vibrant world of plants, animals, figures, and shapes.
