Jane Rivers  Artist Jane Rivers, a graduate of the BA (Hons) in Textile Design at Northbrook, primarily works with textiles, natural dyes, and slow, integrated methods that explore how cloth can hold memory, transformation, and ecological connection. Each piece begins with the material itself – fibres, plant colour, and place – evolving through process and ethical choice. From growing flax to papermaking, natural dyeing and experimentation, materials are continually investigated and re-imagined. Sustainability, natural resources, and low impact processes inform and honour the origins and lifecycles of the materials used. The practice is rooted in a deep engagement with materials, process and place.
