Petworth Society Book Sales The Petworth Society book sales occur on the second Saturdays in March, June, September and December.  They take place in the Leconfield Hall, Petworth between 10am and 3pm. There is no charge for entry. The sales have been going on for almost 25 years and are now a firm fixture in the Petworth community. More than mere sales, they bring together both local people and others from further away.  The proceeds go towards producing the quarterly Petworth Society magazine and other community events that are supported by the Society.
