Commissioned by The Grove, Tony Biggin’s new cello concerto is a work rooted in the landscape and emotional colour of the Sussex coast. The piece sets the cello against a carefully drawn ensemble of winds, brass, harp and strings — music shaped by place, memory and atmosphere. Also featuring music by the Key Largo Trio.
