Enter the murky and fantastical world of mythical beings with internationally award winning jazz saxophonist and composer Tom Thorp and his quintet ILUMETRIS. In an innovative, multi-media musical experience, Here, There be Monsters… sees Tom Thorp collaborate with illustrator Steve Bridger. Bringing together animation, painting, ancient poetry and transcendent jazz improvisation, to immerse audiences in the world of ancient mythology, folklore and story telling.
