Three Score Dance's company of 20 dancers aged 60+ get tangled up with a twenty-metre jute rope joining the dance. Jute challenges the dancers to forge connections, get tied up in knots, be playful and inspire the audience's imagination. As a community develops between dancers and watchers Jute ends with a chance for everyone to dance together. About Three Score Dance Founded in 2011 by Saskia Heriz and Christina Thompson with the support of South East Dance, Three Score Dance brings movement to life for older adults in Brighton & Hove and beyond. Inspired by The Company of Elders at Sadler's Wells and the trailblazing choreography of Pina Bausch, we've built a space where older women and men express themselves through contemporary dance. Our performances tell stories that captivate new audiences, while our workshops welcome those who never thought they could dance to discover the joy of movement. Working with world-class choreographers, we continue to grow a vibrant, creative community. We have a performance company of dancers aged 60+ and classes and community workshops for people aged 55+ in Brighton and Hove and beyond.
