Yarnbombers for St Michael's Hospice Seaside Trail

A vibrant, seaside-themed trail of 18 intricate yarnbombing installations is set to launch across Hastings Old Town this summer to raise vital funds for St Michael’s Hospice. The event (which runs throughout the school summer holidays) invites families, residents, and visitors to search for 18 unique, handcrafted character tableaux hidden inside the windows of local independent shops. The secret collective behind the display, the Yarnbombers for St Michael’s Hospice, spent months knitting and crocheting the coastal scenes to bring joy to the high street. The proceeds of all trail maps purchased go directly to support the Hospice's palliative care services in Hastings and Rother. Maps can be purchased digitally via the official ticket page or by visiting the Yarnbombers for St Michael's Hospice Facebook and Instagram pages. The trail runs from 17th July until 5th September 2026
