Let Them Eat Approximate run time (no interval) - 60 minutes. Written and performed by the Unstable Ensemble . Directed by Bo Reed. Laura has been invited to her first university party, and she’s eager to make a good first impression. Her boyfriend has brought her along to meet his wealthy friends, hosting in a manor house on the desolate black Dog moor. In between drinks and picky bits, it becomes clear that Laura is a crucial step in their plan… The Unstable Ensemble is a collection of young creatives aged 18 - 25 who write, produce, and perform their own plays. ‘Let Them Eat’ is the third production from the ensemble, coming after ‘It’s the End of TheN World and I’m Still in The Closet,’ and their production of the Wardrobe Ensemble’s ‘1972: The Future of Sex.’ This production is sponsored by the Mike Boakes Fund.
