Yin is a slow-paced, gentle and restorative style of Yoga, in which you hold ground-based, passive postures for a long amount of time (in between 2-5 minutes) to help you release tension, increase flexibility, and promote deep relaxation. In this nurturing space, you will be offered props like bolsters, blocks and blankets to help support your body so that you can rest with ease and comfort. Taught by India Williams – India Williams is an E-RYT 500 Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga teacher sharing an authentic and friendly practice inspired by the seasonal calendar, sometimes referred to as 'Mystical Yoga'. India has taken additional trainings in Yin with Norman Blair, and Sanskrit with Samadhi Collective. You can also find India at the Gallivant in Camber, where she is the resident teacher and manager of their studio 'the Open Space' teaching daily classes as well as curating their yearly programme of events. In the Winter however, India spends her time leading retreats or teaching Yogic philosophy, asana, pranayama, meditation and mantra on the Path of Yoga 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings in Thailand.
