Eastbourne Seafront
Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow is scheduled to return for its 32 nd year from the 13th – 16th August 2026, bringing one of the South East's top events back to the South Coast. A winning combination of sunshine and sensational flying displays brought bumper crowds to the event in August 2025, with donations, sponsorship, and commercial sales offsetting the show’s half a million pound annual cost, to break even. Attracting hundreds of thousands of people, the UK’s biggest free airshow provides a huge boost to the local, regional and national economy, generating millions in visitor spending, raising the profile of the town, and supporting the British staycation. The four-day international airshow saw flying displays from the Red Arrows, The Royal Navy Black Cat Helicopter Display Teams, and more, plus a fly past from the massive The RAF’s A400M Atlas with a wing span of 42.4m. Europe’s only flying MiG-17 and F-86 Sabre jets will perform rare displays at Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow this summer. Fans of aerobatics can also look forward to The Firebirds in action on Thursday and Friday – a duo specialising in tight formation aerobatics using Van’s RV-4 aircraft. Two female aviators will be making their Eastbourne debut this year - six-times French champion and the first woman to compete in the Red Bull Air Race, Mélanie Astles in the Extra 330SC, and National Aerobatics and Tiger Trophy winner, Isabel Rutland in the P-51 Mustang ‘Marinell’.
