Swedish-born saxophonist Bjorn Dahlberg has built a reputation as one of the South Coast's most exciting live performers. Equally at home in straight-ahead jazz, blues, soul and New Orleans-inspired music, Bjorn's powerful tenor saxophone sound combines technical brilliance with an infectious sense of fun. His performances are energetic, expressive and deeply rooted in the traditions of live jazz improvisation. Joining him is acclaimed guitarist Matt Jackson , a highly respected musician known for his stylish playing, rich tone and deep understanding of blues, jazz and roots music. Together they create a dynamic musical partnership, moving effortlessly from laid-back jazz standards and soulful ballads to groove-driven classics and spontaneous improvisations.
