Created for the 900th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, the embroidery extends the storytelling tradition of the Bayeux Tapestry, tracing history from 1066 through nine centuries of English life. This extraordinary 243-foot embroidery depicts monarchs, explorers, reformers and innovators, celebrating the enduring craftsmanship of stitched storytelling and its power to preserve cultural memory.
