Join Biodiversity Educationalist, Dr Dan Danahar for a fascinating guided walk through the landscapes of Seven Sisters Country Park. Discover the vibrant life of the reserve as we explore blooming wildflowers, buzzing pollinators, and the rich diversity of insects with special focus on butterflies that call the grassland home. We will feature: Introduction to butterflies Identification of butterfly species Discussions on butterfly ecology Recording butterflies as part of citizen science schemes Butterfly conservation Questions and answers with biodiversity specialist about butterflies and pollinators Note: Nature’s activity may vary with the weather, but there’s always something wonderful to discover! Time: 12:30pm Meeting point: Visitors Centre, Seven Sisters Country park. Suitable for family, there will be nature focussed games and activities for kids. Children must be under the care of responsible adult at all times. Assessment of terrain/Difficulty of walk: moderate. walk may includes ascents and descents with steep slopes.
