You'll learn the correct paddling techniques, balance, turning, self rescue, safety awareness and equipment knowledge, giving you the skills and confidence to enjoy paddleboarding safely wherever you choose to paddle. The course is delivered by qualified BSUPA instructors on our beautiful private freshwater lake in Lydd, Kent. Unlike open sea or tidal locations, our sheltered lake offers calm water, making it one of the best environments for learning. Throughout the session you'll receive plenty of individual coaching, practical tips and time on the water, helping you progress quickly while having fun.
