Paper marbling is a mesmerising process where abstract patterns are created by dropping liquid paint on a surface of thickened water. Discover how various tools can be used to create more intricate patterns. In this full-day workshop, you will learn how to prepare your paper, paint and size for paper marbling, so that you have all the tools you need to marble independently at home afterwards. You will learn a range of paper marbling techniques, from basic patterns like stones, Italian vein and swirls, through to more complex ones like nonpareil.
