Rye Arts Festival Stringed Orchestra & Martin Bruce: International Strings

Come and enjoy the newly formed Rye Arts Festival Strings, conducted by Kenneth Roberts, as they play music from five countries. The ensemble is drawn from some of the best string players in Kent and Sussex and will be joined by organist Martin Bruce, well-known to Rye audiences, for Poulenc's towering Organ Concerto. Also included in the programme will be Grieg's Holberg Suite, and music by Britten, Albinoni, Hugo Wolf and local composer Robert Draper.
